ABOUT THREE RIVERS ROLEO
Get ready for an unforgettable weekend at the 18th Annual Three Rivers Roleo Log Rolling Tournament! Founded in 2008 by sibling duo Katie Burke (Rick) and Jacob Rick at the historic Great River Landing in Onalaska, Wisconsin — one of the many legendary sawmill sites along the Black River — the Roleo has grown from a hometown competition into one of the premier log rolling events in the country. Featured on Fox Sports North & Fox Sports Wisconsin from 2015- 2019, along with a feature on Discover Wisconsin in 2023. The event has featured many of the sport’s top professional and amateur athletes.
Mark your calendars for July 10–11, 2026, as the Three Rivers Roleo returns to Howard, Wisconsin for an action-packed weekend celebrating the region’s rich logging heritage and outdoor culture. New this year, the event will be part of Howard’s Flannel Fest, creating an even bigger festival atmosphere for athletes, families, and visitors alike. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy professional (Saturday) and amateur (Friday)log rolling competitions, chainsaw carving demonstrations, live music, food vendors, local artisan booths, and family-friendly entertainment. Whether you are a longtime fan or experiencing the sport for the first time, the Roleo promises a unique showcase of balance, skill, athleticism, and Wisconsin tradition.
Professional log rolling at it's finest with the Women's and Men's semi-finals and finals from the 2019 KRICK Three Rivers Roleo presented by STIHL and Explore La Crosse.
